Plant Protection
Staff
Plant protection has been "practiced" at Massey University
since it's beginnings as an Agricultural College in 1924. Today,
the discipline is pursued by a small team consisting of an entomologist,
a weed scientist, and plant
protection information/training technology specialist and other
support staff. Presently, we do not have a plant pathologist. Approval
is being sought for this position.
These people are active in teaching, research and extension. Their
home pages, linked above, outline their current projects and can
also act as a point of information and contact. |
